Eligibility / Academic Standard:
A pass in B.E. (or) B. Tech in (Elect) / EEE and or Diploma (Elect)/ EEE with minimum 50% in final year & 50% in English in 10th or 12th STD or in the Degree Course conducted by the Board or any University.
Medical Fitness:
Medically fit with eyesight 6/6, with or without external aids. Maximum power permitted (+) 2.5 No. colour blindness. All candidates have to pass complete medical examination and mendatory tests prior to joining at the Academy. NMS have panel of qualified Doctors and requirements as per ILO Convention 147 Seafarer's Medical Examination.
Selection Procedure:
NMS undertakes Aptitude, IQ, Reasoning and Psychometric tests followed by an interview. The final section will only takes place after medical check-up through our panel Doctor.
